Things I learn at daycare

Cora did her evening ritual last night... after dinner she grabbed her little red chair, drug it out onto the deck, pulled it up to the table, asked for her cracker and sat down to eat it. What I hadn't seen her do before was what she did next. She put her hands together and said "Thank you God for family and friends. Amen". Then proceeded to eat her cracker. Wow. And a couple weeks ago after she was done eating she said in her broken almost-2-yr-old English "May I be excused from the table please." I guess she's learning to be more polite at daycare than we teach her at home! I'm so proud!
